Standard fields are the extra fields you can add to your portal without having any relation to your podio app. By using these fields, you can add static content or global content that you want to expose to your users.
Standard fields include texts, images, videos, iframe, HTML box, empty space and horizontal line.
Text fields allows you to include paragraphs or one-liners to your portal. Just as other typical text fields, you may use the basic functions such as having the fonts in bold, italics or underlined. You can have items in bullets or numbering and you can use pre-formatted font sizes from H1 to H6. Links will show up as clickable and quotes can be defined.
However, you can not choose the font styles and colors on the text field itself. It automatically uses the default or whatever font style or colors you have selected from your settings. You may find these info on custom font and styles section and color and theming section under the global settings.
Want to include images on your portal? You definitely can! The allowed file types include .jpg, .png and .gif. You can upload files with sizes up to 50MB.
Some portal can not be complete without having welcome videos, tutorials, slideshows or presentations. You can simply paste links to include videos on your portal. Sources may come from YouTube, Soundcloud, Facebook, Wistia, Vimeo, DailyMotion and Twitch.
Need to include some really valuable information from other sites? You may do so! All you need to do is copy the link from your source and add it to the iframe field. You can adjust the height and the width, you may even choose to have frameborders and allow to inject cookies user data.
To further customize your portal's style and enhance specific parts of your site, you can use custom code on our HTML box.
Empty Space and Horizontal Lines
Organize your content by putting gaps and breaks anytime! You can specify the height of your empty space to customize your portal's designs.
NOTE: You can access individual settings by simply clicking on the gear icon at the upper right corner of the field you added. Each field has custom box settings where you can change background colors, set the sizes of margins, padding and border radius. You can even set your border styles into shadowed, just bordered or even both!
